Visit to Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge

Finally had the opportunity to go the the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and take the boat tour through the swamps. The day was beautiful, not too hot, and no mosquitoes.

The tour guide was incredible and filled in the history of the swamp and how the swamp builds itself. His talk was very interesting, but he also allowed periods of silence so we could hear the birds, soak in scenery, and hear the splashes when the alligators moved. And there were a lot of alligators.
